Southern Champlain/Brant Lake Ramble

The ride will depart and head on Rt. 4 toward the historic town of Whitehall New York, the birthplace of the United States Navy. Outside of the town we will cross the state line and enter Vermont, stopping at the Vermont Visitor’s Center for a break. We will then head up Rt. 22A toward the next destination of Crown Point State Historic Site. The next destination will be a lunch stop at the Wind-Chill Factory. We will then head south to Mt. View Chapel for a short visit and then proceed down the western side of Lake George to the town of Hague. The ride will then turn on Rt. 8, climbing the mountain and then past beautiful Brant Lake. At this point the ride will head back to Great Escape Lodge. Ride length is 138 miles.
