This ride has it all – Lakes, Rivers, Mountains, Bridges, a Historic Fort and the Birthplace of the United States Navy.
If you are looking for a ride that has a bit of everything “Adirondack” you won’t be disappointed.
We will be heading out through Greenfield, to Hadley where we will cross over a historic landmark, one of the last remaining parabolic bridges left today, the Hadley Parabolic Bridge (Hadley Bow Bridge) built in 1885. Heading deeper into the breathtaking Adirondack Mountains and all their renowned beauty, we come to Warrensburg, which is best known for hosting “The World’s Largest Garage Sale”. From there we venture through Brant Lake on the way to Ticonderoga. Ticonderoga is home to another historic landmark, Fort Ticonderoga, which played an integral part in changing the tide in the American Revolution. On we trek to Whitehall, the birthplace of the United States Navy and the center of maritime trade. All that, and I didn’t even mention the lakes and rivers we will be passing that enforce the fact that there is no place as exquisite as the Adirondacks.
After filling your soul with the pure breathtaking beauty this ride encompasses, fill your belly. This ride will end at DAX Powersports in Queensbury for a free catered lunch.

You will walk alongside the River Styx stopping to marvel at the wonders of Titan’s Temple and The Giant Formation on your way to the Lake of Venus where you will enjoy a short serene boat ride. Your tour will conclude with a stop at the romantic Bridal Altar and an exciting twisting, turning walk through the Winding Way.

Come ride with us and enjoy a quick afternoon scoot, traipsing through the back country roads of Saratoga Springs, Wilton, Moreau, Corinth and Greenfield as we take in the beautiful scenic views and charming horse farms along the route. If traipsing isn’t your thing, don’t fret, we have some thrilling mountain twists and turns we will be navigating as well, as we make our way to Spier Falls.
Spier Falls is an impressive Hydroelectric dam that rests on the Hudson River.
In 1903 Spier Falls were dammed and the Spier Falls Hydroelectric station was built. At the time, it was the 4th largest dam and power plant in the world. But that didn’t come without a cost, although the exact number is disputed, there were tragically at least 29 lives lost during the construction of the dam.Currently Spier Falls Hydroelectric Dam is ranked 48 out of 944 power plants in New York and 2,202 out of 12,509 power plants nationwide in terms of total annual net electricity generation.
